After more than twenty years of abandonment, the former Mercatone of Avellino starts up again, a symbolic work that was thought to bring recovery and development to the entire community after the earthquake and which instead for various vicissitudes represented the symbol of waste and abandonment.
After 12 months of work, the Centro Servizi Vivendi was born, a modern multipurpose shopping center, which in the new intended use includes a large grocery store, offices and public services, green areas and leisure facilities, a covered car park with 400 spaces and an interchange car park in the center of the city that will allow you to relieve traffic congestion.
The intervention arises from the private financing of the company “Vivendi S.r.l.”, the subsidiary of Principe S.p.A. of Naples which with a project financing of nine million euros will lead to the complete renovation of the building complex.
Icomet Carpentry Metallic Srl also took part in all this with the construction in record time, as required by the work schedule, of the structures necessary for the construction of the covered parking, part of a state-of-the-art interchange system which will allow you to park and reach the city center through easy routes. The intervention, commissioned by the company La Palma 73 Soc. Cop. of Pozzuoli, consisted in the construction and assembly of metal structures and floors in corrugated sheet and concrete to be used as covered parking.
